We facilitate Consumer-Directed Services which is a Missouri State Sponsored program that allows the care recipient or the consumer to become his or her own employer. The care recipient can choose the person who will take care of them – it can be a family member or a family friend. (Spouses cannot be chosen as the care provider under the CDS program.)
Consumer-Directed Services /CDS Admission Criteria
- The care recipient must have active Medicaid insurance.
- For elderly or disabled persons, must be mentally competent to make own decisions
- For adults 18 or older, must be functionally impaired (must demonstrate need for care)
